These Ingredients Should NOT Be in Your Vitamins and Supplements!

There are so many different vitamin and supplement brands and types offered. Sometimes, it is hard to choose which brand or type. 

Let’s first go over supplement types. Some common types are capsules, tablets, gummies, soft gels, and liquid. The most effective supplement type are capsules. Capsules tend to act faster than tablets. Also, capsules have a higher bioavailability. More of the ingredients enter your bloodstream. Choosing capsules as your form of supplement is important if you have effectiveness of these vitamins and supplements as a priority.

So, now we got that out of the way. Let’s focus on brand quality and supplement ingredients together because they honestly go hand in hand. In general, vitamins and supplements should have as little ingredients as possible. 

There should be no garbage or toxics in your supplements. Here is a list of ingredients that are NO-NOs in vitamins and supplements.

  1. Magnesium stearate
  2. Sodium ascorbate
  3. Sodium benzoate
  4. Titanium dioxide
  5. Glucosamine
  6. Magnesium silicate (talcum powder)
  7. Hydrogenated oils
  8. Artificial flavors
  9. Artificial colors
  10. Artificial preservatives
  11. Artificial sweeteners

These ingredients should not be in any of your vitamins and supplements. Do not buy if even one of these chemicals are in the ingredients list.
